We are towards the end of Black History Month, I hope that many have taken time out to research and read upon the many wonderful black figures there have been (and continue to be). And that people have been educating themselves more on black history and its impact.
I sincerely hope people continue to read upon black history. Unfortunately it is not something heavily taught in the educational system, it is down to us but thankfully there are many wonderful resources out there, both in books and on social media!
It is never too late to educate yourself (and others). I hope that this month has been a push and encouragement to those who have never partaken in Black History Month or ever learnt anything about it before.
Continue reading, learning and educating đ

All In Endearment, Dear
A/N: My friend really liked that last fic and they wanted another one. I am so glad they liked it. One of the only positive things that happened in a while, hahaha. To anyone who comes across this, commenting, anything, even if it's just a smile makes my day. I finally get to feel that little surge of happiness when my fics are being read. It's a nice feeling, not going to lie. And to top off all of that, @queenofchaos7 requested that I continue this fic. So here we are.
Pairings: Merlin x Arthur
Summary: In an attempt to be more direct with Arthur, he takes Merlin out hunting with his knights. Something so intimate and a clear show of his loyalty, that Merlin could not mistake it as anything else. And in the middle of the forest, Arthur would not be able to chicken out like a coward, lest Merlin gets lost in the forest.
Word count: 3,824
Part 1
Part 3
Warnings: language, suggestive language, crude jokes, violence, blood,
Merlin was ignoring him. The man just had to be. Sure, Merlin came when called, was present in the council meetings, and everytime Arthur âaccidentlyâ injured himself Merlin would be there to nurse his wounds. It was just that Merlin rarely ever made eye contact with him anymore unless absolutely necessary. Merlin rarely ever lingered when called anymore, quickly leaving Arthurâs side to do who knows what.
Everyone already knew that Merlin was a wizard. Arthur was in full support of Merlinâs power and his ability to be useful among the court. For once in the brunetteâs life that is.
There was no reason why Merlin should be avoiding him like this. Had he done something to make the man upset? Was it the rain comment from the week prior? Whatever it was, it was making him lose sleep. Arthur had long admitted that he was infatuated with Merlin, in love even. Though that was a big word. But obsessed to the point of losing sleep? That was where he drew the line.
âMerlin!â Arthur yelled in that way of his. So distinctive that Merlin subconsciously curled up deeper into his nest of blankets. âMerlin!â Arthur yelled again, banging on Merlinâs door in Gaiusâ quarters. âI know you arenât at the tavern. I checked already. Wake up and come out here or Iâm going in!â
Begrudgingly, Merlin rolled out of his straw stuffed bed and unlatched the door for Arthur. The king immediately stepped in before Merlin could close him out. âDo you realize how late it is?â Merlin asked in a sleep filled voice, not expecting Arthur to reply.
âEarly actually, Merlin. The sun will be up in an hour or so,â Arthur replied, trying to hide the effects that Merlinâs sleep filled voice had on him. The king was so glad that the room was too dark to properly see.
âThat doesnât explain why youâre in my room, you twat,â Merlin groaned, trying to make Arthur out without magic. If he didnât know any better, it looked like Arthur was in his hunting outfit.
âWould it be absurd to say I just wanted to see you?â Arthur asked in mock jest, watching Merlinâs face in the dark of the room. Even without light, he was shining.
âYou see me everyday, remember? I work for you,â Merlin countered, turning on his heel to beeline for his bed.
âBut youâve been ignoring me.â
Merlin ignored him in favor for getting back into his bed.
âMerlin,â Arthur tired again. âIâm here for a reason, you know.â When Merlin didnât reply Arthur rolled his eyes. âIâm taking you hunting.â
That got the wizard right out of his bed. âWhat?â he exclaimed in confusion, his hair stuck up on one side. Arthur was tempted to fix it back into place.
âWhat do you mean, what? Weâre going hunting in the forest.â Arthur approached the bedside slowly, as if coming up to a sleeping lion in its den.
âIs that an order?â Merlin mumbled against the bed, pressing his sagging pillow against his head to hide away from Arthur. His shirt was riding up his chest from the movement and Arthur had to quickly look away.
âI-it is,â Arthur stuttered, suddenly very interested in Merlinâs walls. The wizard had a little parchment picture of a bird nailed to his wall. The sketch was quite accurate, though Arthur could not remember for the life of him what kind of bird it was. âWeâre going hunting with the knights.â
âCouldnât this wait until morning?â
âIt is morning, Merlin,â Arthur inched toward the door, suddenly very aware that Merlin had gotten up from his bed and was currently undressing behind him. âJ-just hurry or else weâre leaving you behind.â
âWell, we canât have that,â Merlin snarked, shrugging into a new tunic. âYou might stab yourself with your own sword if Iâm not around.â
Arthur turned around, offended that Merlin would say such a thing, âWell I would have you know-â Merlin had yet to put on a new pair of trousers. Arthur ran from the door without saying another word, scarred for life at what he had seen. Merlin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion until he heard a distant shout. âI still expect you to be there, Merlin!â Groaning at the unfairness of life, Merlin stepped into his trousers and made his way to the courtyard.
Arthur and the knights were there waiting for him, everyone disregarding, Arthur looked just as exhausted as he was. One of them was barely holding onto his mount. âDear god, Arthur, what are you doing?â Merlin asked with a yawn, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
âTake the lot of you hunting for a great beast or something the kitchen staff could roast for us!â
Merlin was ready to leap off a cliff. âAt this ungodly hour?â he asked, not really expecting an answer.
âOf course, Merlin. Do you really expect us to hunt at night?â Arthur answered with a smirk on his lips. The knights of the round table all looked as if they were ready to kill their king as well. Gwaine was half asleep on his stallion. Lancelot was sleeping with his eyes open, the lucky bastard.
âI expect you to hunt without me,â Merlin shook his head, turning his back on Arthur to saddle his own horse. The mare was purposely stronger than the others, a more reliant breed that had the best sense of home. If anything were to happen while they were hunting, Arthur wanted Merlin safe.
âCome on, Merlin. It wonât be that bad,â Arthur sounded, ordering his knights to flank him as they rode off into the forest. âReally, it could be worse.â
âIt really couldnât.â Merlin rode to his left, Percival to his right. For knights of his court, none of them except Leon seemed to be properly awake. Even Elyan who used to get up before the break of dawn to help his father was trying to not doze off. Arthur was frankly disappointed in them.
âIt could be fun, Merlin,â Leon gave him a reassuring grin, reminding Arthur of a golden retriever. âIf anything happens out here, weâll be here to protect you.â
âIt's more likely that Merlin would get himself into a spout of trouble. Heâs a magnet for that sort of thing,â Arthur butted in, suddenly aware of how close Leon was to Merlin despite their protective formation. His knight looked bright and cheerful even when the sun barely broke the horizon. âDonât worry, Merlin. Weâll be sure to save you from yourself,â Arthur added, playfully punched Merlin on the shoulder.
âOuch, that hurt,â Merlin groaned, rubbing against the spot Arthur had hit.
âYouâll live,â Arthur hid the guilt that ran through his system well. âIf you canât take a punch then you wonât survive out here, you clotpole.â
âFirst you take my sleep then you take my insults, what next, my breakfast? Oh, wait,â Merlin snarked, holding the reins to his mare tightly. Arthur had made Merlin carry all of their supplies, his horse being the strongest and all. But the wizard didnât know that. He just saw Arthur as dead from the head up inconsiderate.
âYou havenât had breakfast, Merlin?â Elyan asked in a concerned tone. When Merlin shook his head, Elyan quickly glared at the back of Arthurâs head. âWe should catch something for you then. The rest of us had bread and cheese before departing,â Elyan informed, grabbing the box strapped to his back to notch an arrow and be on the lookout.
âHeâll be fine. Missing one meal wonât kill him,â Arthur brushed off Elyanâs concern. His knight was a much more skilled archer than he was. If he was to impress Merlin then he would need all the chances he could get. Perhaps taking his most skilled knights into the forest to hunt for sport was not the most brilliant idea.
But if it were only him and Merlin, then the wizard might have suspected something amiss. Arthur rarely went outside of the city outskirts unless it were for a diplomatic meeting. And he never hunted before day break. It was unsafe to do so alone. However, Arthur wanted all the time he needed to confess to Merlin. So, really, bringing the knights was the only smart choice.
Arthur was beginning to regret his intelligent decision.
The sun finally rose to signal that morning had truly arrived. And with it brought disappointment. They had spent the entirety of the morning running around like cocks with their heads chopped off. Not a single one of them could catch even the smallest of blue jays. No one had any luck.
Arthur even begged Merlin to cast a spell to make something fall at their feet but the wizard had refused because he found it too cruel. The king agreed but at the same time, they would be killing the creature for supper either way. Did it really matter, how?
According to Merlin, yes.
And that was how they ended up here at the river. Noon had just passed its peak and the soft morning sun was blistering with heat. Everyone was sweating in their armor and gear. Practically begging Arthur to stop for a dip. Pleading that theyâll try to catch some fish while they were at it.
Only Merlin sat fine as can be in his faded blue tunic and red handkerchief. The fabric so worn and loved, Arthur could only imagine how soft they were. Though, those two items seemed to be the only things in Merlinâs wardrobe. That and the inverted of the two, faded red tunics and blue handkerchiefs. The wizardâs sense of style was lacking to say the least.
âDo I have something on my face?â
âBesides arrogance? Not that I know of,â Arthur answered defensively, turning his back on Merlin for the second time that day. All the knights had piled their armour and clothes on the ground, running head first into the river. The wizard clearly didnât want to be left out.
Arthur may join them in the water but there was no possible way he could compete with them. They were soldiers, training from morning till evening and then some more. Their bodies were muscular, hair greased and unruly, their scars gleamed in the sun. Arthur couldnât help but stare at them, watching as droplets fell from their rippling chest. His face grew bright red, heat making him dizzy as he resisted the urge to look lower.
Merlin was having no such complications.
The wizard had just taken off his drawstring trousers. His boots laid next to the knightâs pile of clothes. The horses were tied to a nearby tree and happily grazing. Arthur noticed these simple things so as to not stare at Merlinâs figure. As much as he would like to make fun of Merlin, there was nothing to make a mockery of. For a simple servant, Merlin was quite fit.
âCome on, Arthur! The water is great,â Gwaine yelled from the river, splashing on shore where Arthur was still standing with his gear on. His back was to the group, but his knights knew damn well why he was not looking their way. They had found out about his little crush on Merlin after he had one too many tankards. And since then, they had not ceased in their teasing.
âThere could be leeches in there for all you know,â Arthur replied, watching a family of birds high up on the tree branches.
âLeeches are harmless,â Merlin said in a cheerful tone. He could hear the man swimming and splashing behind him. âIf youâre worried about the leechesâ well-being, Arthur, theyâll be fine. Missing one meal wonât kill them,â Merlin laughed in a way that made butterflies flutter in Arthurâs stomach.
âHa, ha, very funny, Merlin.â
âThe river feels wonderful,â Leon added as well, looking like a glowing greek god come alive. Sure, all of his knights were good looking, but he saw the way the soldier looked at Merlin. Just because Leon knew about his crush, doesnât mean the man wasnât willing to steal Merlin. The knight was so clearly flaunting his muscles, tousling his bright blonde hair with his veiny hand. âWhy donât you join us?â
âPlease, Arthur?â Merlin pleaded, the sound going straight to Arthurâs heart and perhaps somewhere lower. âIt will probably fix your sour mood.â
âI donât think anything can fix that,â Percival said with a grin that took up the entirety of his face.
âI think only one thing could.â Arthur could feel Gwaineâs wink against the back of his head. He resisted the urge to gag in the back of his throat. If he loses to Gwaine, heâll never forgive himself. Leon was worthy at the very least, Gwaine drank too much. To lose to a pig was an under disgrace.
âFine!â Arthur yelled to his hunting party. He tugged off his gear, his tunic, and then eventually his trousers. It was all a very frantic dance to rid himself of layers, he felt like an utter git. âAre you happy now?â he turned to ask his party, preparing himself to jump into the river.
âNo pants, my lord?â Elyan asked in what could pass as a concerned tone, but Arthur could hear the snicker in his voice.
âWell- Arenât you all naked as well?â Arthur stuttered, flushed as red as the day he was born.
âEven I have my pants on,â Gwaine grinned widely, floating on his back to prove his point. The man was wearing white cotton pants with pink sewn hearts. It was quite comedic if not for the fact that Arthur was standing butt naked in front of the man of his affections.
Arthur quickly grabbed his pants and stepped into them before struggling to jump into the river. He failed to properly jump due to searing eyes on him and belly flopped into the water instead. âGah!â Arthur cursed under his breath, surfacing with a grimace. âThe waterâs so cold.â
âThereâs no need to feel ashamed, my lord. Performance issues are normal for someone your age.â
âStress and lack of usage I hear are big factors in the issue,â Merlin added, grinning at Arthur playfully.
âShut it, Merlin.â
âI think you might be scaring all the fish away, Arthur. You would think that little shrimp of yours would attract more of them.â
Having enough of their rude jests, Arthur pushed his hand through the water and splashed the nearest men. That only awarded him with six grown men thrown into a water battle. It wasnât fair that Percival was large enough to create a tidal wave of a splash or that Merlin could use his magic to protect himself and attack the others. So when he had ran for his own horse to wade through the water, it was all within the rules.
âCheater!â
âTraitor!â
Arthur only laughed out loud, âThe horses want to be a part of the fun as well!â He had quickly grabbed ahold of his clothes and putting them on with one hand was proving to be more difficult than it seemed. âCatch me if you can-â A strong gust of wind appeared out of the blue and knocked Arthur right back into the water, his horse swimming to the other side.
âWhat were you saying about fun, Arthur?â Merlin looked down at him, those blue grey eyes staring right at his heart. âAre you willing to play fair, now?â Merlin said in a whisper of a voice.
Arthur parted his mouth to speak, but Merlin took his breath away. This was the moment to tell him. To confess how much he needed Merlin in his life, wanted the man without hesitation. He would never give away his kingdom, but for MerlinâŠ. For Merlin he would consider it. A kingdom was not one without its kings.
He could not place the exact moment he fell in love with Merlin, but he had always loved the fool. âI l-â
His horse on the other side of the river nighed in warning, the steed whining in fear. Bucking up on high legs, Arthur had to hold onto Merlinâs arm to steady himself. There on the shore was a beast he had never seen before. A bear as large as a house stood on four reptilian feet, the fur of the thing made from pure glistening metal. The creature had three sets of violet eyes and radiated heat like a furnace.
Before any of them could react the bear opened its maw to reveal dozens of rows upon rows of teeth. They were sharpened to a point, serrated edges that tore through the horse with a rigid form of fiery. In the blink of an eye, the horse was gone.
âGet back on your horses!â Arthur ordered his men, back stroking onto shore for his sword. âPrepare yourself!â A breeze brushed against his back, goosebumps littering his pale skin. His men were behind him, but Merlin, the bastard that he was, was in front of him. âMerlin, get your ass back here!â he yelled, gripping his sword in hand, chest and clothes soaked through.
âHeâs starving!â Merlin shouted back as if that explained everything. The brunetteâs lips were tinted blue, his pale skin a purple bruise from their earlier rough water fight. He looked so small then.
âGet back here before I drag you by your ear. You are not to engage!â Arthur threatened, quickly looking out of the corner of his eye to make sure the rest of his knights were alright. They all stood prepared to give their lives for the block headed wizard. Swords at the ready, amour and gear laid askew on the floor, chest bare. Their lives for the thief that stole Arthurâs heart.
âDonât attack!â Merlin yelled back, wading towards the bear with vigor. His chest heaved with each breath labored by fear. âThe poor thing is starving,â Merlin repeated, holding his hands out in a reassuring gesture.
âMerlin,â Arthur warned in a hushed voice, afraid that if he spoke any louder the creature would feel threatened. âGet back here, it's not safe you, utter git,â he hissed between his teeth, eyes darting between the two beasts
âIâll live,â Merlin called back, eyes glowing light amber and gold.
âThatâs what Iâm worried about,â Lancelot muttered under his breath.
Merlinâs lips twitched upwards at the comment, âMake sure Arthur behaves if Iâm gone.â
The mere implication of such a thing had the king of Camelot rushing forward. Arthur would die before having to live a day without Merlin. He was seeing red as he waded through the water, pulling the wizard behind him. âNever!â Arthur yelled louder than intended, the creature whipping its head at them.
âYou bloody-â Merlinâs curse was shortened by the blood curdling roar that erupted like a volcano from the beast. It reeled back onto its two high legs, claws as long as Arthurâs arms slashing forward. The underbelly of the thing was made from thick places interwoven, almost as if it knew that was where Arthur was planning to strike.
âBold of you to assume death could get you out of this relationship,â Arthur quipped before diving underwater.
âRelationship? If you think you could confess to me and then go off to get yourself killed, then Iâll kill you myself.â
âHey, lovebirds! Have your loverâs quarrel after youâre not in immediate danger,â Gwaine shouted, joining Arthur underwater.
âAll of you are going on a foolâs errand,â Merlin said exasperated, climbing onto shore. Leon and Elyan pulled him up with their free hands, pushing him behind them the moment he was on his feet. He rolled his eyes at this, absolutely done with his hunting party. Turning on his heel, he found his horse with all of their supplies. âThe bear hasnât eaten in days, have you seen the state of this forest?â Merlin pulled out a small sack of fruits and bread he had nabbed from the kitchen before running to meet Arthur.
The remaining knights looked onto him in concern, none of them completely used to the words and voice Merlin used when practicing magic. It was a low hiss of words, his eyes illuminated by liquid sunlight. If he weren't on their side, they would be slightly fearful of the wizard. Especially when he made the small sack fly through the air like a canon smelling of freshly baked yeast.
The bear whined low in its throat, the sound like gravel being thrown by the handful at glass windows. It caught the flying sack in between its rows of teeth, tearing through the thing thread by thread like it had the horse. Arthur was within attacking distance when the beast unhinged its maw and let put the most rancid burp.
Arthur and Gwaine fainted where they once stood. The creature lumbered away like it hadnât just killed a member of their cavalry and scared them lifeless. Merlin swam across the river without hindrance, slapping both Arthur and Gwaine across the face the moment he touched shore. âYou two better have a pulse or Iâm feeding you to the bear,â Merlin threatened, feeling at their necks and wrists.
âPlease, mercy,â Gwaine groaned, âThe thing smells like my grandfatherâs cooking.â
Merlin chuckled despite himself, the sound causing Arthur to stir. âThis wasnât supposed to happen,â the king murmured more to himself than to the rest of the party.
âReally? I would have never guessed. I assumed you had planned this all out, being killed by a beastly bear included. Was that not a part of your little list of Hells for Merlin?â
âThis was supposed to be a date,â Arthur said instead, struggling to sit up properly. The smell of the beast lingered and Arthur could have thrown up. âI was supposed to impress you and confess.â
âWell call me impressed,â Merlin brushed Arthurâs hair out of his hair. It was soft to the touch, even riding in a forest for the whole day couldnât ruin it. âBut Iâm planning the next date.â
âNext date?â
âOh no, no, no, a concussion isnât getting you out of this relationship,â Merlin shook his head with a grin and a gleam in his eyes.
âI donât have a con- Ow!â Merlin smacked him over the head. âThat hurt!â
âReally? It felt like I was just hitting rocks.â
âYou canât say that to me, Merlin. Iâm your boyfriend.â
Merlin couldnât hide the blush on his face and to be honest, he didnât want to. âI say that because youâre my boyfriend. It's said with endearment, dear.â Arthur grinned at the pet name, Merlin returning the smile as he pulled the king close. Pressing their lips together should have been done ages ago, it was breathtaking. Merlin tasted of faint crisp apples, Arthur of something utterly his own.
Arthur tasted of something delicious, Merlin decided. And he was starving.

Why did the museâs parents/guardians choose their name? Does it hold a special meaning? (This oneâs an interesting one for Percy I think!)
{I wish I had a more interesting answer; I can only really think that she was named after the knight Sir Pervical [more commonly translated now to Percival], like she was OOCÂ â^^ Thatâs probably how she was introduced to the concept of the order of knights in the first place, and part of what got her so into it.}
#{I mean my mom was named after a famous actress and that's what introduced her to/got her into doing theatre}#[ off the clock - OOC ]#[ I hope my answer suffices - answered ask ]#[ hello; this is police - headcanons ]#anon

Sir Percival Servant Concept
One of the famed Knights of the round table. Percival is the second seat of the knights of the round. Making him second only to Lancelot among the knights. A close friend, and compatriot to sir Galahad and sir Bors, as the three sought the grail together.
Like most knights of the round table, Percival is a top class servant, no matter what class he should be summoned in. Percival qualifies for the Saber, Lancer, and Rider classes. Though his preferred class is Lancer.Â
Description, and personality
Percival is a tall man, with wild auburn hair, and a scar across his left cheek. He never wears a helmet, often saying âit holds him backâ. Though the knight always wears a set of red armor into battle. A flowing mantle is also usually draped about his shoulders, which proudly bears the symbol of his forefathers. A mighty griffin, battling a serpentine beast.
Sir Pervical is a much more laid back knight compared to most of his compatriots. Since, for most of his young life, he was raised in the forests with his mother. He does not seem to be as uptight about the granular details of the code of chivalry. Though, when it comes to the broad strokes you will not find a more valorous knight. He is considered by many to be one of the most driven, and yet compassionate knights. Percival is also very fond of cooking. And is best among the knights. Since he learned much from his mother while living in the forest.Â
Relationships
Galahad is Percival's most trusted friend. They, along with Sir Bors, were the closest to retrieving the holy grail. And the pair are almost like brothers. Though Percival is regretful that his actions directly caused them to lose their chance at the grail.Â
Lancelot, and Gawain Percival seems to have a friendly rivalry with the pair. Especially Lancelot. Since the two are the first and second seat of the round table respectively. However, Percival still holds Lancelot in a some amount of contempt for not raising his son
The other knights. Percival seems to to have an amicable relationship with most of his brothers in arms. Even Mordred.
Parameters, and Skills
Strength A
Endurance B
Agility B+
Magical Power C-
Luck A
Riding C+: As a knight, Percival has great skill in horsemanship. Though he was not nearly as skilled as some of this other knights. Thanks to his middling riding skill, Rider is his weakest class, but even then, he would still be formidable
Magic Resistance B:This skill grants him high resistance to all but the most powerful of magical attacks. When summoned as a Rider this skill drops to the rank of B-
Grail Seeker B: A unique skill granted to both himself, and Galahad. As the pair were among the most famous of knights who sought the grail and would come the closest to succeeding. This skill manifests as a sort of powerful magic detection. While most servants can detect magical energy to a certain degree this ability is limited in ways. Percival can detect magical signatures from a longer range, and is especially attuned to any holy magic.Â
Beast Killer B+: As a child who grew up in the wilds, Percival learned from a very young age how to slay almost any animal. He would later in life run into many magical creatures, and battle them as well. Most famously, he would slay the beast his father failed too. The monstrous Questing Beast.
Noble Phantasms
Pelles, The Bleeding Lance, Rank A: Upon saving the land of The Fisher King, both Galahad, and Percival were granted great boons. While Galahad was granted the throne of the land, Percvial was given two weapons. The first, was Pelles, the bleeding lance. The spearâs true originâs are unknown. It bears a striking resemblance to the crimson spears, Gae Bolg, and Gae Dearg. The spear was also said to be the holy lance that pierced the side of christ. Though no one knows if that is true. However, what can be said of Pelles is that it is a spear of duality. A spear that is both holy, and cursed. The blood that leaks from the lance curses enemies to have painful crimson wounds. However, when the blood is used upon one of Percivalâs allies it has the power to heal. Though he himself cannot use this healing property.Â
Armor of Kukumerlant Rank C: In one of Pervicalâs first battles, he faced off against a red armored knight. Sir Ither. He slew the knight in battle, and took his armor for his own from that day onward. The armor was enchanted by Itherâs mother, a powerful witch. It can never be removed by another, as long as its owner lives, and it is nearly immune to flame.Â
Sword Of The Fisher King Rank B++: The second boon granted to Percival upon saving the Fisher Kingâs kingdom. It is a sword, forged by the fey, and its blade is so keen, and sharp that it can cut even adamantine. It is said to be a sister sword, to Lancelotâs own. However, the sword also represents Pervicalâs own doubts. In saving the Fisher King, he forever gave up his chance to obtain the holy grail, thus failing his king. This doubt, and guilt, manifests as a small crack in the blades form. As long as Percival holds this guilt in his heart, the sword will shatter at a key moment, and lead to his death.Â

"Sir Lancelot Du Lac...I know we are not on the best of terms right now but this isn't about our petty squabbles. This is about love, I am going to marry your son Galahad for he has accepted my proposal. But I want your blessing before we move any further, I still see you as my role model and would want you to be apart of the next chapter of our lives to be a guide for both Galahad and I. So what have you?"
He gave Percival a stern look as he listened to the younger manâs words. Marriage? Were not both of them Heroic Spirits? There was nothing stopping them from vowing before God to care for the other. He doubted his opinion truly mattered and this whole song and dance was a formality and nothing more. Him as a guide? How? He never even GOT married, to begin with, and he honestly grew tried basically having to apologize for his existence to the ones who âidolized himâ. In short, Lancelot was in no mood to see this as anything romantic.
âIf you wish to claim before God and others witnessing this marriage your vow to care for Galahad, then you both can do as you wish.â Cold and all business, the crossed arms and frown didnât even need to be mentioned to show his mood at the moment.
âIf Galahad needs me, I will be there. I will always be his father no matter how feelings may shift between us or involving you. As for guiding you in marriage life, you are asking the wrong person. Sir Gawain had a happy marriage and so I honestly believe he would be better suitored to act as a role model for that type of life.â He wasnât going to ask about just finding out now, if he was invited or why he wasnât informed sooner about this wedding or when it was; life nor duty would not change for him no matter what they do.            Â
âIf there are no other matters that need addressing, I will take my leave.â He hadnât come to hate Pervical, instead, he became indifferent.

How to catch your Giant (Elyan/Percival)
(S4, canonnish). Welcome to The Pining Kingdom Of Camelot, where Elyan loves Percival, Percival loves Gwaine, Gwaine loves Merlin, Merlin loves Arthur, Arthur (thinks he) loves Gwen, Gwen loves Lancelot, and Lancelot is dead... (Sir Leon and Gaius can only sigh helplessly all day). Elyan, though, knows what (who) he wants; and has never been one to back off...
.
When Lancelot had turned up with Percival at his side, Elyan had been stunned breathless. The man was, actually, a Giant - and what an attractive one...
Elyan had only had to wonder for a short time though before realizing there was in truth nothing more than deep camaraderie and shared ideals between the two close friends: Lancelot had only eyes for his sister (even though he'd rather die than act on it), and Percival surely didn't seem to mind about it...
And so, Elyan hadn't been able to stop himself to fall head over heels for the man with a heart even broader than his looks.
And the thing was: Percival DID very much, obviously, like him too.
Except, sadly, he was literally and utterly spellbound by Gwaine, just as obviously.
And Gwaine - even though he'd probably enjoy a tumble in bed with about nearly anyone and everyone - had apparently sensed Percival wanted more, much more than that with him; and would never hurt a true friend that way.
Because Gwaine's heart belonged to Merlin - whose heart belonged to Arthur, whose heart belonged to his sister, whose heart had been shattered by Lancelot's death... What a mess they all were (no matter their deep attachment to each and every other) - even finding solace and support and strength and enough, simply, in what they had, knowing it could never be more, and not even wishing for more...
But Elyan wasn't from cut from the same wood. One day, after months of inner struggle, Elyan finally decided that it was *not* enough. At least; not for him - and not for Percival. They both still could have more, no matter what; and he owed them both to make a stand and take a chance, for the sake of making them both happier, if not perfectly happy, right?
/
And so, right that evening, after they'd let Leon, then Gwaine, at their doors, on their way back from having eaten at the tavern, Elyan made his move. Instead of the usual punch in the arm he gave Percival as a 'goodnight', he went up on his toes and landed a chaste kiss, but definitely and undoubtedly a kiss nonetheless, on Percival's lips.
Percival's reaction was just as expected.
He looked baffled.
Then he blushed, as it all sinked it.
Then he tilted his head, sighing sadly.
"I can't... I'm sorry E-"
Elyan silenced him with a finger: "Don't be. I know. I'm not Gwaine." Slight pause. "But you're not Merlin, either - and I'm sorry for you. I know how you feel for Gwaine, and I respect that. But he is, as I'm sure you're aware of, what will never be. So I just wanted you to know that I can be, well, what can actually be; and that I wish to be what *is*, one day; if you ever feel like trying. It might not be everything; but that shouldn't have to mean that we shouldn't have anything at all, right. I know you care for me too, Perce; I trust you would make me happy. And I believe I could make you happy too, if you'd let me. Just... think about it - or don't. No strings attached. I'm not expecting anything; and nothing you do or don't do will change the way I feel for you, anyway. But I just thought you should know."
"Elyan-"
"Have a nice sleep. See you tomorrow."
/
Two weeks and nearly three full days passed, and Elyan had started to believe that was that. He had been glad at first, that Percival didn't rush into anything. Elyan wanted Percival's decision to be, well, a decision; and not a spur of the moment of whatever... But the more time passed, the more Elyan knew he had to let go of his dream of what could be. It didn't change the way he felt, indeed. But he had the consolation to know he had tried, at least; no regrets.
So Elyan was very much surprised when there was a knock at his door that evening; and that a bashful Percival stood behind his door after he had opened it.
"I thought about what you said, El."
"Oh."
Elyan couldn't breathe; wainting. He didn't want to hope; but it was hard not to, when Pervical looked so... shy?
"And I think you're right."
"Oh", but in a very less anxious tone, was all Elyan could hush out again before Percival returned the exact chaste kiss he had been given about 18 days ago.
/
(AN: Why do I have to make myself cry??)
"You made me happy, El. I hope, wherever you are, you can hear me. You made me happy."

tell us more about valaun'drin!!!
AHH of course!! ;u; I already posted a long thing here when I went wild with oc building, but in âshortâ heâs a dark elf i created for my first d&d campaign who is (well, used to be) a travelling actor, and part time criminal like the rest of his theatre gang (whom i really wanna work more with later)! Whether or not heâs a good actor is under debate but most signs lead to no.He has a mysterious mechanical crab he named Mr. Snips and a flute named Sir Pervical III (fates of I and II unknown except I think he destroyed one in a knife fight). Personality-wise he is very (VERY very) pretentious, confident and self-serving which is why I love him. VERY sassy even when he doesnât intend to. Attempts flirting with basically everyone. Focused on his appearance and image and looks just AMAZING in purple. He is actually a pretty nice and helpful person but itâs difficult to know when heâs being genuine. Basically he is kind of a difficult character to play since itâs hard to gain his loyalty (which does still belong to the theatre gang), aaand since our dwarf does a lot of stupid shit, heâs been like THIS close to leaving at least 5 times. Like I HONESTLY donât think it would be unrealistic if he just joined the next good villain that comes along.Iâve been very hyped about him this year, I think playing d&d is a really good way for me to develop characters and express myself in a way. Thank you so much for the interest!! Iâve also drawn him a lot recently so Iâm gonna post some more art of him soon.
#smiletattoo#asks#i should probably reblog more of those oc question things those were fun#my characters#valaun'drin dremorin

"My King, I am elated to see thee again. Hast thou been well, since our last meeting?"
So this guy is here too.
It all returned to him, the memories of the olden days wherein Sir Bors, Sir Galahad and Sir Pervical left in search of the Holy Grail. Only one of them came in contact with him again, and it was Sir Percival, who surrendered his knighthood in order to become a priest. Theyâre Servants of the Grail now, each with varying goals and ambitions. At this point, Arthur hardly considers his regal position applicable to this day, but he shall not disappoint. No, not in the face of those who once saw a great light upon him.
âBetter now that Iâve seen you once again.â A proud and sincere smile. âIf you would have me, Sir Percival, then I shall remain as the King you once served.â

fireredrulesâ pokemon team dynamics rp meme
(please repost with everything attached!) answer each prompt with whichever of your museâs pokemon fit it best. feel free to include multiple pokemon per answer or extra details as to why they might fit the prompt. if one doesnât apply, just put N/A
who is most likely to steal their trainerâs food? For Fred, it could be any of them, especially the canines, but Beelzebub would do it maliciously. For Ted, itâs easily Squibble. who is most likely to rebel or ignore orders during a battle? - Beelzebub or Grumpy for Fred and... any number of Tedâs pokemon. Definitely Cadmium for Ted, since she was a traded pokemon, but Argentum and Lithium are just as fickle. who is the least welcoming of new pokemon/people? -Sir Clop- He doesnât welcome anyone. Argentum is the most aloof, but Romana is very possessive of her Master. who is the laziest? - Artemis might look the laziest, but sheâs just slow! Itâs really Tramp. Tedâs laziest is Calypso- sheâs a lady of leisure. who wakes up the earliest? - Artemis is an early riser. We canât tell with Ted, because theyâre all kept in a ball O u O. who stays up the latest, or doesnât sleep at all? - Any of Tedâs pokemon who stay up with him while he works- Lithium comes to mind, staying up as a guard. who is the messiest? - Beelzebub and Arsenic. who is the loudest? - Beelzebub (can you see a pattern) and Squibble. who considers themself the âleaderâ? - Percival, Sir Clop and Artemis have big clashing egos. Squibble thinks heâs the leader, but Argentum easily holds the most authority. who is the weirdest? - Caramel&Cherry are the most bizarre by far. Although Calypso seems an odd duck, Lithium is the oddest. who is the biggest cuddler? - Tramp and Romana. who gets themselves into trouble the most often? - Beelzebub and Squibble. who hates bath time? - Tramp, Sir Clop, Pawla and Arsenic. Incidentally, Calypso LOVES bath time. who gets the most visibly excited from seeing their trainer after a long absence? -Tramp (after any amount of time) and Romana. who is most protective of their trainer? - Percival, Artemis and Romana. who uses their charms/cuteness to try and get away with things? - Sorbet and Versailles. who messes with other trainers for fun? - Beelzebub and Lithium. who is the most submissive to their teammates? - Tramp who is the purest angel? - Tramp and Calypso. Lilâ babies. who gets jealous the most? - Romana. Romana does. who is the one laying on their trainerâs face in the morning - Tramp, Sophie and Pawla. Ted might be snuggling Leonardo Da Bun Bun... but thatâs not really a pokemon, is it? who is the most distant from their trainer? - Cherry&Caramel and Lithium are distant in general... comes with being a product of the labs. who is closest to their trainer? - Tramp and Percival, and Romana. who is most alike their trainer in personality or habits? - Percival for Fred and Lithium for Ted... :^) who races ahead when on a walk? - Tramp! Ted doesnât take his pokemon for walks. who is the most loyal/obedient? - Percival. For Ted it has to be Lithium and Argentum... although a short lead can be broken. who eats the most? - Pervical and Cadmium. She tends to hork down Raticate too big for her belly, but Tedâs too soft to say no. who is the quietest? - Solange and Titanium. who is the clumsiest? - Well, William doesnât have any arms or legs... and for Ted, it has to be Calypso. who is the most hotheaded? - Beelzebub and Squibble. who is the âmom pokemonâ? - Artemis, for sure, and Argentum
tagged by - @pxgtails tagging â ummmm... pretty sure pxgtails tagged everyone ever but Iâll try to get a few in @magma-odor-sleuth @silveragenda @aquatrey @magmagrunthiro @shadyxdealings and u can just steal this off me if u wanna~

Leon and Percival: describe horrible visions of clawing trees, raining blood and basically just the freaking apocalypse while looking traumatized.
And then thereÂŽs Gwaine: I dreamt i was eating a cheese that tasted like apple pie. Anyone else had that dream...no? Well youâre missing out.

Grabbing Lancelot from behind Percival was direct and hard with his fathers Punishment the knight lifted the pervert fully dropping him from behind in a suplex with so much force it left a crater in the ground. "LADY NIX IS NOT ANOTHER MAIDEN FOR YOUR GAMES FATHER!"
This Game is supposedly from this ask: @ryogai
It was all so sudden, he found his head smashed into the floor within a few moments. The 1st thing he registered after the headache he had now was Pervical yelling about Lady Nix and games. You see everyone, this stuff you do to get bladed (spanked). Picking himself back up while holding his aching head, he gave Percival a stern look.Â
âGames? Implying I play with maiden's hearts? I see. If that is what you truly see and believe I am, then I have nothing else to say to you. Good day, Sir Percival.â His tone was stern and icily even toned. He saw no need to argue or yell on this matter at all. Thus Lancelot turned and walked away leaving the room with these parting words:
âUnless the King or Master demands it, there is no longer a reason for us to fight together in battle or training. The value would not be worth tarnishing your purity.â He said the last word with a barely veiled disdain.Â
